Manistee ONE keeps this simple. This page explains exactly what is collected when you visit, by whom, and why.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages people visit, roughly where they arrive from, and what device or browser they use. We read this in aggregate, to gauge traffic and improve the site, not to identify you. These tags are managed through Google Tag Manager.

Google Analytics sets cookies and records standard technical information, including a shortened IP address used to estimate general location and not stored in full. Google processes this data as a third party, under Google's privacy policy. You can opt out across all sites with Google's opt-out browser add-on.

We do not run advertising, we do not use this data for ads, and we do not sell it.

Search Console

We also use Google Search Console, which reports how the site appears in Google Search, such as the terms that lead here and how often pages are shown. This is provided to us in aggregate and does not identify individual visitors.

Cookies

The only cookies on this site are the ones Google Analytics uses for the purposes above. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use the opt-out add-on linked above.

What we collect through the form

If you use the contact form, we receive what you send: your name, your email address, and your message. If you don't contact us, the form collects nothing about you.

How we use it

We use the details you submit for one purpose: to read your message and reply to it. We do not send newsletters, marketing, or unsolicited mail. You will hear from us only in response to something you've sent.

How it's handled

To deliver your message to us, the contact form is processed by our website host. Your submission is transmitted to us and is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own use. We retain correspondence only for as long as needed to respond and to keep a reasonable record of the exchange.

Your choices

You can opt out of analytics using the tools above, or by blocking cookies in your browser. If you'd like us to delete a message and the details you sent, just ask and we will. You can reach us through the contact form on the home page.
